Bagpipe grace notes are the most common and most used bagpipe embellishment. They are the little single chirp sounds you hear between notes. The most common grace notes are the G, D and E grace notes. However, there are a couple more you will learn as you progress through these lessons. These are the foundation of all your embellishment playing so it is critical that you take your time and do these the proper way. Do not move on to doublings until you have mastered grace note lessons below.
