Lesson 3: Bagpipe High G Strikes
The High G Strike is a variation of the normal strike and is typically played on A, B, C, D or open D. When played properly you will hear a High G grace note then two melody notes separated by a 'popping' sound. While playing make sure your striking fingers are lowered and raised at the same time. The beat should fall when your High G grace note closes. The strike movement actually happens after the beat.
